This web site is built upon the [[http://www.dokuwiki.org/|DokuWiki]] content management system and hosted by [[http://www.dreamhost.com|DreamHost]]. DokuWiki is a wiki engine geared towards collaborative web sites built by small workgroups, particularly for documentation. I have found it to be perfect for hosting my personal web site, as long as I lock it down and don't allow anyone but me to edit content. DokuWiki is written in [[http://www.php.net|PHP]].

You will notice there is no blog-style comment functionality on this site; I don't have the time to deal with all the spam-related issues that would come up if I allowed them. Please address feedback to me via [[Contact|email or IM]]. If you need to publicly criticise or praise me, please do so on some web page of your own.

DokuWiki users might notice that I have created my own personal DokuWiki template (visual theme) not found anywhere else on the web. I created this theme by starting with the DokuWiki ''default'' template and stripping it down with the goals of lessening visual clutter and inheriting the viewer's style defaults and desktop environment colors wherever possible. The template isn't completely finished yet, but I do plan to publish it some time; if you're interested, send me an email of encouragement.
